I couldn't recommend a daycare more. My child started at 3 months and is now 14 months. He loves his teachers and is so excited when we get there every day. They are loving, nurturing, and understanding. They communicate well and all the staff are kind and inviting. They do a lot of neat activities and have great play areas for all ages. I am a first time parent and can't imagine sending my child any other place.

Emergency Weather Closings

Sometimes the weather can be unpredictable. If our centers are ever closed due to inclement weather, you will find an announcement at the top of this page, either the night before or early in the morning. The Growing Place reserves the right to close or delay opening due to weather. Our decision to close or delay the Working Parent Program is independent of the Pleasant Valley and Stroudsburg Area School Districts. If The Growing Place is open, parents are responsible for regular payments regardless of weather or attendance.
